Terms of Service for Personal Use

*Please read carefully. By commissioning me you are agreeing to the terms of service below, which are created to protect me, the artist, as well as the client.

Any statement can be discussed with me, the artist, prior to the commission.

I. GENERAL TERMS.

II. PAYMENT

For personal commissions, upfront payment is possible but not required. Once the Starting Sketch is approved by the client, I will send a Paypal invoice directly in their email inbox. If the client is from the EU, I will suggest a bank trasfer as alternative paying method.

The listed prices refer to SINGLE CHARACTER illustrations, with a SIMPLE BACKGROUND. aAny additional character will add 70% of the original price.
Complex backgrounds will add an additional percentage, to decide according to the desired idea.

III. PROCESS

Work In Progress pictures will be sent to the client regularly, in particular when a doubt regarding the commission needs to be clarified. Extra WIPs can be requested at any time.
The time for your commission to be completed can be from 2 weeks up to 2 months after the payment.

IV. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

I will do everything I can to make my customers happy.
However after a commission is finished, only small changes are allowed to be made, such as small colouring/marking mistakes.

Any great changes will come with an extra charge. Such as an outfit change, outfit addition or subtraction, background change or anything that makes me have to redraw it completely.

If the reference provided was unclear to start with, then you are not allowed to do minor changes without a fee, so please, make sure to be as clear as possible while giving me instructions, in order to achive your vision

V. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY

Even after completing the commission, I, the artist, will continue to hold intellectual property rights over the produced drawing.

Therefore I'm allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to;
Promote myself with in any place or site without claiming the character(s)/concept as my own.
To display it and post anywhere to my liking (except the client requests the commission to remain private, which is absolutely acceptable)
I will NOT however make any additional profit from the illustration.

The commissioner are allowed to;
Print the artwork for private use ONLY.
Upload the artwork to any social media/website (Credit is required and appreciated)
Change it to your liking. (Credit is still required for usage of the artwork, even if altered or edited.)

In case of copyright infringement, every right you had to the drawing will be retracted.

The following is considered Copyright infringement:
Taking Credit for the creation of the artwork as its creator.
Using the artwork to promote your brand/your person commercially.
Making any merchandise of the artwork.
Selling the artwork rights to third parties (private or commercial partners)

Use the artwork in any manner for purposes of training artificial intelligence technologies, including those that are capable of generating works in the same style or genre. Sublicensing the artwork in such manner is also prohibited.

VI. CANCELING/REFUNDING POLICY

I have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.
You have no right to cancel or demand a refund from the artist under any circumstances after payment is received.
If money has not been sent yet the commissioner has the right to cancel the commission.

If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted and I have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to new buyers.

I also have every right to file a complaint if necessary.

Terms of Service for Commercial Use [Valid for Book Covers]

To make the commission as close as possible to the idea the client has in mind, provide me, the artist, with a solid and clear description together with some visual references.
If any, all preferences of image format or shape must be communicated to me, the artist, before the starting of the project.
[The book measures are completely up to the client. They must be communicated to me, the artist, before the starting of the project, together with the preferred formats for the final file.]

II. PAYMENT

All commercial commissions must be paid in full upfront, via Paypal invoices that the client will receive directly in their email inbox. If the client is from the EU, I will suggest a bank trasfer as alternative paying method.
The prices are motivated by the commercial usage of the artwork and the fact it will be a one time payment for me, the artist.

The listed prices refer to SINGLE CHARACTER illustrations, with a SIMPLE BACKGROUND.
Any additional character will add 70% of the original price.
Complex backgrounds will add an additional percentage, to decide according to the desired idea.

Change it to your liking and promote your own brand with. (Credit is still required for usage of the artwork, even if altered or edited.)

In case of copyright infringement, every right you had to the drawing will be retracted.

The following is considered Copyright infringement:
Taking Credit for the creation of the artwork as its creator or refusing to display my name anywhere on the main product [On the book’s back or inner cover].
Selling the artwork rights to third parties (private or commercial partners)

VI. CANCELING/REFUNDING POLICY

If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted and I have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to new buyers.

I also have every right to file a complaint and I have all the right to the money you have given me.
